The risk deriving from the exposure to biological agents has been, in recent years, a phenomenon of emerging interest. The cause is the appearance of new ways of infection and the “re-emergence” of infectious diseases that were considered sufficiently controlled with currently available preventive and therapeutic measures. Infections related to Assistance are closely connected to this risk.
The poor patient safety, in the context of health care, represents a serious issue for public health as well as a high economic burden.

The course consists of 10 modules and, once completed, it involves a final learning assessment test.
